From the fortress town of Kufstein, the Mariandlalm makes a rewarding day trip into the Thiersee valley — mountain air, a hearty snack and trails less than half an hour away.
By car
From Kufstein, head via Thiersee and Landl on towards the Ursprungpass / Bayrischzell. A few kilometres past Landl the Ursprungpass car park is on the left-hand side.
On foot to the hut
From the Ursprungpass car park it's about 60 minutes on foot through the Trockenbachtal to the hut.
Family walk to the MariandlalmDrive times are approximate — please check the weather and road/trail conditions in advance. The forest road up to the hut is reserved for residents; please park at the Ursprungpass car park.
