From Bayrischzell at the foot of the Wendelstein, you reach the Mariandlalm over the Ursprungpass — the shortest approach from the Bavarian side, across the border into Tirol.
By car
From Bayrischzell, cross the Ursprungpass towards Landl / Thiersee. Shortly after the pass the Ursprungpass car park is on the right-hand side.
On foot to the hut
From the Ursprungpass car park, the easy trail climbs into the Trockenbachtal to the hut in about an hour.
Family walk to the MariandlalmDrive times are approximate — please check the weather and road/trail conditions in advance. The forest road up to the hut is reserved for residents; please park at the Ursprungpass car park.
